What's An Energy Audit?

Simply put, an energy audit is an evaluation of how efficently your home is using the energy it comsumes. Since you pay for that energy, you'd like to know how your home scores.

What's Involed In An Energy Audit?

We do a series of tests on your home and then generate a report with a list of reccomendations on improvments. Those tests include:

Air intrusion test using a blower door
A building envelope evaluation
Insulation evaluation
Thermal Bridging test
Air duct inspection.
Appliance evaluation
Utility bill overview

How Much Does An Energy Audit Cost?

$75 for the inital consultation. If you'd like to have the entire test run, there is a $275 testing fee. $350 for the total package.
